The Accounting Course Level 3 covers about complex partnership transactions, advanced accounting theory, and even some governmental accounting.
Course Objective:
- To train students to research selected financial reporting standards, issued by both the private sector (Financial Accounting Standards Board) and the public accounting oversight group (Securities and Exchange Commission), this can help develop students’ understanding of financial accounting concepts. and the conceptual framework in which they are developed.
- To train students in interpretive and analytical skills by enabling them to solve complex accounting and financial reporting problems and “real life” business cases.
- To increase students ’awareness of the dynamic environment in which businesses operate by exploring the critical role that technology plays in collecting and reporting financial information and the impact of operating internationally.
- To introduce students to “non-profit” accounting by studying accounting policies and practices in the government and district sectors.
